The title song “Take it Forever” is sort of a manifesto for the album. It’s also an autobiographical account of my life as an artist and a musician over the last few years. I think it’s important to value the experience, and not let outside forces such as capitalism or popularity determine how you value your art and your creativity. At the same time, popularity and commercial success are great, so wish all the best to those who are on that path. The most important thing is to know who you are, and to find the truest expression of yourself.
